GFC Waste Management (Pvt.) Ltd. is a licensed hazardous and clinical waste management company in Sri Lanka, operating in full compliance with the National Environmental Act No. 47 of 1980. The company holds a valid Environmental Protection Licence (EPL) issued by the Central Environmental Authority (CEA) for its clinical waste treatment facility in Hambantota, including two incinerators, authorizing the safe treatment, disposal, and emission management of clinical waste in accordance with Sri Lanka’s environmental protection and noise control regulations.
Further demonstrating its commitment to environmental sustainability and engineering excellence, GFC Waste Management (Pvt.) Ltd. received the 2nd Place SLIIT Engineering Excellence Award 2024 under the Engineering Services category for its innovative and sustainable industry practices. The company also possesses a valid CEA Scheduled Waste Management Licence, authorizing the collection, transportation, storage, and disposal of scheduled hazardous waste, reinforcing its position as a trusted provider of compliant waste management solutions in Sri Lanka.
