GFC Waste Management successfully conducted a Fire Drill Training Program for its factory staff as part of the company’s ongoing commitment to workplace safety and emergency preparedness.

The training session was led by Mr. Peiris, Chief Engineer, who served as the resource person for the program. He provided valuable guidance on fire prevention, emergency response procedures, and the correct use of firefighting equipment.

During the session, employees were educated on identifying potential fire hazards, responding effectively during emergencies, and following proper evacuation procedures. A practical fire drill was also carried out, allowing staff to experience a simulated emergency and practice safe evacuation techniques in a controlled environment.

The program aimed to enhance employees’ awareness of fire safety, improve their confidence in handling emergency situations, and reinforce the importance of teamwork during critical incidents.

GFC Waste Management remains committed to maintaining a safe and secure working environment by conducting regular safety training programs that equip employees with the knowledge and skills needed to protect themselves, their colleagues, and the workplace.
